The short answer
There are two ways to put one campaign into many ad accounts.
- Meta's own tools. Build the campaign in one account, then repeat it in each other account by hand, or move it with a spreadsheet export and import. It costs nothing extra and it works. It is slow when you have more than two or three accounts.
- A launcher. A tool that talks to Meta's API builds the campaign in every account you pick, in one run. Amino Engine Ads is one of these. You draft once and review once.
Both paths are below, step by step. We also cover the limits Meta puts on ad accounts, because they decide how many accounts you can run in the first place.
Why brands and agencies run several ad accounts
Running more than one ad account is normal. An agency runs one account per client. A brand with two stores, two countries or two currencies often keeps one account for each, so spend and reporting stay clean. Some teams split accounts by product line so each one has its own budget owner.
Each of those accounts is a real, separate account. Each one has its own payment method, its own pages and pixels, and its own standing with Meta. Every account must follow Meta's advertising rules on its own. A launcher saves you the clicks. It does not change what Meta allows.
Path 1: Meta's own way, account by account
Meta Ads Manager has a Duplicate button. On Meta's duplicate help page, you can duplicate campaigns, ad sets and ads into the original campaign, an existing campaign or a new campaign, and choose the number of copies. All of that happens inside one ad account.
Copy and paste does not cross accounts either. The same page says, in Meta's words: "Your clipboard is limited to one ad account, in one browser window, at one time. You can't copy ads across ad accounts or multiple browser windows."
So to repeat a campaign in a second account with Meta's tools, you have two choices.
Option A: rebuild it by hand
Switch to the second account and create the campaign again: objective, budget, ad sets, audiences, then every ad with its creative and copy. For one campaign with three ad sets and four creatives, that is twelve ads to set up per account. Small slips creep in, like a missing link parameter or the wrong page.
Option B: export, then import
- In the first account, select the campaign and export it. Meta's export help page lists .csv, .xlsx and text as the formats.
- Clear the ID columns so Meta treats the rows as new. Meta's own troubleshooting for the template says to make sure all the ad IDs are deleted.
- Switch to the second account. Below the Campaigns, Ad sets or Ads tabs, select More, then Import ads in bulk, as described on Meta's import help page.
- Upload the file and the pictures or videos. Meta shows a summary with warnings and blocking errors. Fix the errors and import again.
- Check the page, the pixel and the creative in every ad, since they belong to the account they were set up in. Then publish.
Repeat steps 3 to 5 for every account. It works, and it is the right choice for one or two accounts. With five accounts it is five imports, five sets of errors and five reviews. Our guide to Meta ads bulk upload covers the spreadsheet path in full detail.
Path 2: one draft, many accounts, with Amino Engine Ads
Amino Engine Ads is software that launches Meta campaigns, ad sets and ads into one or many ad accounts from one set of creatives. The launcher has five steps, always in this order: Creative, Copy, Template, Accounts, Review. You can launch into up to 5 ad accounts at once. Everything lands paused.
Step 1: Creative
Drop in pictures or videos. PNG, JPG, GIF and WebP pictures work, and so do MP4 and WebM videos. The same picture counts as one creative even if you rename the file. Anything Meta already turned down is greyed out and cannot be used again. We suggest about five creatives per run. That is advice, not a limit.
Step 2: Copy
Write one primary text, one headline, one link and one button. That copy goes on every ad in the run, in every account. The link must start with https.
Step 3: Template
Pick a campaign template, set the daily budget and choose who it is for: cold, warm or hot. The template is one sales campaign with the budget on the campaign, three audiences, and every creative in every audience. Because the same template runs in every account, each account gets the same structure.
Step 4: Accounts
Pick the ad accounts. For each one, choose the page the ads post as and the pixel that measures sales. Before launch, the app checks two things Meta needs: a working card and a page to post as. An account that is missing one of them is greyed out, with the reason beside it, so you know what to fix. A pixel, audiences and the rest are advice, not blockers. An account that is already spending counts as ready.
Step 5: Review
Review shows exactly what will be built before anything is sent to Meta. It reads as one line, then the budget.
3 campaigns · 9 ad sets · 36 ads · across 3 accounts
Daily budget per account, then the total for the run
Everything starts paused.
Confirm, and the app creates the campaigns, ad sets and ads in each account, all paused. Nothing spends until you switch it on in Meta.
The ad maths
The launcher builds one campaign per account, one ad set per audience, and puts every creative into each ad set. So the count is easy to work out before you start.
- 4 creatives x 3 audiences = 12 ads per account.
- 12 ads x 3 accounts = 36 ads in one run.
- The same run is 3 campaigns and 9 ad sets, because each account gets one campaign with three ad sets.
Keep Meta's own ceilings in mind. Meta's per-account limits page says you can have up to 50 ads in each ad set, and a regular ad account can hold up to 5,000 ads. Meta also sets a limit per Page on ads running or in review, starting at 250 ads for pages that spend less than 100K USD in their highest spending month. Five creatives per run stays far below both.
What happens in each account
- Naming. Campaigns are named for you, consistently, so the same launch reads the same in every account.
- Tracking. Every ad is tagged with its ad account, so sales can be traced back to the account that made them.
- Failures stay contained. If one account fails, the others still launch.
- A record of what was built. Every campaign, ad set and ad id is saved the moment Meta returns it. Every change is written down and checked against Meta about an hour later.
What it does not do
It is better to know the edges before you plan a launch.
- No per-ad copy. One primary text, headline, link and button cover the whole run. If an account or an ad needs different words, run it separately.
- No automatic switch-on. Everything lands paused. You review it in Meta and turn it on yourself.
- No spreadsheet import. You drop files in and fill in one form. There is no sheet to upload.
- No way around Meta's rules. Each account still needs a working card and a page, and every ad still goes through Meta's review.
Meta's ad account limits
How many accounts you can launch into depends first on how many Meta lets you hold. Here is what Meta's help pages say, as read on 1 October 2026.
- Ad account limits: "One person can manage up to 25 ad accounts." "An ad account can be assigned to up to 25 people." "Businesses begin with an ad account creation limit of one until they make a confirmed payment."
- The same page: a closed ad account "still counts toward your ad account limit."
- Ad account creation issues: Meta adjusts your ad account limit "based on historical spending and use of existing ad accounts." An account in bad standing can also block new ones.
- Where to see your limit: in Meta Business Suite, go to Settings, then Business info, and look below Ad account creation limit.
- Adding an ad account to a business portfolio: create a new one, claim one you already own, or request to share one. Agencies use the last option for client accounts, so the account stays in the client's portfolio.
The honest takeaway: grow the number of accounts the way Meta intends, through real spend and good standing. Do not open new accounts to get around a restriction. That breaks Meta's rules and puts every account in the portfolio at risk.
Which path should you pick?
Use Meta's own tools if you run one or two accounts, if every ad needs its own copy, or if you need a campaign shape the template does not cover. Use a launcher when you run the same creatives across three or more accounts and you want one draft, one review and the same structure everywhere.
