Pipeboard alternative

A Pipeboard alternative with a built-in Meta launcher

Amino Engine Ads is software that launches Meta campaigns, ad sets and ads into one or many ad accounts from one set of creatives, and lets Claude work the same accounts over MCP. If you use Pipeboard for Meta and want a real launcher next to the MCP, with tool names your prompts already know, it is worth a look. If you need Google, TikTok or other ad platforms in one assistant, or read-only tokens, Pipeboard is the better fit.

The short answer

Pipeboard and Amino Engine Ads overlap on one thing: both connect an AI assistant to your Meta ad accounts over MCP. After that they go different ways. Pipeboard is a connection layer for many ad platforms. Amino Engine Ads is a Meta launcher with an MCP server attached.

Amino Engine is likely the better fit if:

  • You run Meta ads only.
  • You launch the same creatives into several ad accounts and want one run, one review and one paused build.
  • You want Meta's numbers next to your store's own orders.
  • You sell in a restricted category, where review is strict and you need tools made with that in mind.
  • You work in Claude.

Stay with Pipeboard if:

  • You need Google, TikTok, LinkedIn or other ad platforms.
  • You want a read-only token for reporting, or tokens scoped to certain accounts.
  • You work in ChatGPT, Cursor or n8n.
  • You want to start on a free plan with a published price.

What Pipeboard is

Pipeboard describes itself as AI for paid marketing teams. Its home page says: “Connect your ad accounts to AI. Launch campaigns, uncover wasted spend, and act faster with the team you have.” You connect your ad platforms, then add Pipeboard to your AI assistant as an MCP server. The assistant reads your data and, with the right permissions, makes changes.

Its Meta Ads MCP guide calls the Meta server “source-available” with “30+ pre-built tools covering the full Meta Ads management lifecycle”. It lists Claude Desktop, ChatGPT, Python, n8n and any MCP client as places it works.

What Pipeboard does well

It is a good product, and some of it we do not match.

  • Many platforms in one place. The home page lists Meta, Google, TikTok, LinkedIn, Microsoft, Pinterest, Snap and Reddit Ads, plus Google Analytics, Search Console and Google Merchant. A note on the same page says some of these are previews.
  • Read-only and scoped tokens. In its words: “Use a read-only API token for reporting and analysis without giving it permission to change ads.” Paid plans add permission-scoped tokens, and Agency adds per-account scoping.
  • Paused by default. The MCP guide says “campaigns created in PAUSED status by default”. That is the same rule we follow.
  • Open code. The Meta server is source-available on GitHub, so you can read what it does.
  • A free plan and a public price list. You can try it before you talk to anyone.
  • A Meta badge. Its pricing page lists “Badged Meta Business Partner”. Amino Engine does not hold that badge.

Where Amino Engine Ads differs

A launcher, not only a connection

Pipeboard's public pages center on the assistant: you ask, and it calls tools to build or change campaigns. Amino Engine has that too, and it adds a launch screen with five steps: Creative, Copy, Template, Accounts, Review. You drop in pictures or videos, write one primary text, headline, link and button for the run, pick a campaign template and a daily budget, then pick the ad accounts.

One run builds into up to 5 ad accounts at once. Each account gets its own campaign, one ad set per audience, and every creative in each ad set. Four creatives on a three-audience template make 12 ads per account. Review shows exactly what will be built and the daily budget per account and in total. Everything lands paused. If one account fails, the others still launch.

Checks before anything is built

Before launch we check two things Meta needs: a working card and a page to post as. An account that is missing one is greyed out with the reason beside it. A creative Meta already rejected is greyed out too and cannot be launched again.

121 Meta tools, with Pipeboard's names

The Amino Engine Ads Manager MCP server has 121 Meta ad tools at one address, with one key per brand. Tool and argument names match Pipeboard's, so a script written for Pipeboard runs by changing the address. Your key goes in an Authorization header, or in the address for claude.ai connectors.

Results next to your store's own orders

The app shows ROAS, revenue, spend, purchases, CPM, cost per purchase, cost per click and CTR, each with the change against the previous period. Meta's numbers and your store's own orders sit side by side, never blended into one. You also see which ads Meta turned down, with Meta's own reason, and you get alerts when an account is disabled, a page goes down or tracking breaks.

Built for restricted categories

Amino Engine was built by running Meta accounts for research peptide brands, where review is strict. We never cloak and never try to get around Meta review. What we offer instead is a launcher that keeps to the rules and shows you every rejection, so you can fix the cause.

Claude today

The MCP server works with Claude: Claude Code, claude.ai and Claude desktop. Pipeboard supports more AI clients than we do.

Moving from Pipeboard

Because the tool names match, your existing prompts and scripts for Meta keep working. The move is mostly a change of address.

  1. Request access by email.
  2. Sign in with Facebook once and pick which ad accounts to bring in. Leaving one out changes nothing on Facebook.
  3. Copy your key. It is shown once. You can reveal, rotate or revoke it later.
  4. In Claude, point the connector at https://ads-bridge.aminoengine.com/mcp and add the key in an Authorization header, or in the address for claude.ai connectors.
  5. Run one of your saved prompts. The same tool names now reach your accounts through Amino Engine.

Two things to know. Calls to Pipeboard's Google, TikTok or other non-Meta tools have no match here. And your key can write to your ad accounts, so keep it private.

What Pipeboard has that Amino Engine does not

  • Google Ads, TikTok and other ad platforms beyond Meta.
  • Read-only and permission-scoped tokens.
  • Support for ChatGPT, Cursor, n8n and Codex.
  • Source-available code on GitHub.
  • A free plan and a published price list.
  • A Meta Business Partner badge.

If those matter more than a multi-account launcher, stay. If you run Meta and launch into several accounts, try ours. You can also compare AdManage and Ads Uploader, or read our list of the best Meta ads launchers. For the whole product, see Amino Engine Ads.

Pipeboard alternative questions

  • For Meta, it is close. Our MCP tool and argument names match Pipeboard's, so a prompt or script written for Pipeboard's Meta tools runs once you change the address and the key. Pipeboard's tools for other ad platforms have no match on our side.
