  • Complaints, day by day · last 30 days. The line is the share of delivered mail that people reported as spam. The amber line is where we slow you down (0.10%). The red line is where we stop your marketing (0.20%). Days with fewer than 50 emails delivered are left blank, because one complaint out of ten emails is 10% and means nothing.
  • By inbox provider. One row each for Gmail, Microsoft, Yahoo or AOL, Apple, Proton and Other, with Share, Delivered, Complaints and Standing. Standing is Good, Slowed, Stopped or Too few to judge. A company's own domain counts as Other, even when Google runs it.
  • Google's requirements. Eight things Gmail asks of every sender, with a count such as 6 of 8. Two are about our servers and say Checked at setup. The rest turn green as your records pass, and the spam-rate line stays under 0.10%.

#Domains & warmup

The table Your sending domains shows Domain, Used for, DNS, Warmup, Daily limit and a button, DNS records or Finish setup. Below it are the warm-up chart and Signing keys. See "Set up your sending domain" and "Why emails land in spam".

#Bounces explained

A bounce is an inbox saying no. Four cards show the last 30 days, with a count and a share of what was sent:

  • Dead address. The mailbox is gone. We remove the person the first time.
  • Temporary. A full mailbox or a busy server. We retry for up to 2 days.
  • The provider refused us. Gmail or Microsoft said no to our servers, not to your person. We keep the person, slow down to that provider and hold the warm-up. This one is our problem to fix.
  • Our fault. We built the email wrong. We fix it and resend. It counts against us, never against the person.

#Deliverability

This tab adds everything up.

  • People pressing "report spam" (40)
  • Emails to addresses that no longer exist (25)
  • Your sending records (20)
  • Inbox providers refusing our servers (15)
  • People asking to be taken off (10)
  • People who have not opened anything in a year (10)
  • How established your sending address is (5)

The chip provisional appears while fewer than 1,000 emails have been delivered, because a score on a small sample is a guess.

What to do next lists actions that are true right now. A row can have a button, such as Pause Gmail for a day when a provider has refused our servers, or Stop mailing the quiet ones. Not now hides an item for 7 days. Urgent items cannot be hidden. A paused provider appears under Paused right now, with Start again now. Pausing affects marketing only. Receipts still go out.

#Alerts

Go to Settings → Monitors. The card What we watch says we check every hour and send at most one message about each per day:

  • A flow stops sending. It sent last week, has sent nothing for 48 hours, and people are still entering it.
  • Bounces double. This week against last, once at least 200 have gone out in each.
  • Too many people report spam. Over 0.10% in a day, once at least 500 have been delivered.

The card Who hears about it has the switches Delivery problems and Trial and plan reminders. Alerts go to owners and admins. Everything we have told you is the log.

#If it didn't work

  • A tab is empty. It fills in after your first sends.
  • The Pause button is greyed out. Ask an owner or admin.
