Send your WordPress emails through us
One switch in the plugin moves your order confirmations and password resets onto your verified sending address.

By default WordPress sends its own mail straight from your web host: order confirmations, new-account emails, password resets. That mail is usually unsigned, comes from an address nobody recognises, and lands in spam more than it should. It also leaves no record you can look at.
Our plugin can take that mail over. The emails are the same, with the same wording. They go out from your verified sending address and each one shows up under Messages.
#Before you start
You need three things:
The Amino Engine for WooCommerce plugin, installed and connected to your account. If you have not connected your shop, do that first.
A verified sending domain. See "Set up your sending domain".
A live shop. A staging or development copy of your shop sends nothing through us.
#Turn it on
In WordPress, go to WooCommerce → Amino Engine — Email. The page is headed Email delivery.
On screenWooCommerce › Amino Engine — EmailTick Send this shop's email through Amino Engine. It is off to begin with. Nothing changes until you tick it, not the wording, not the design, not who gets it. Only who carries it.
Under Which emails?, tick the kinds to move. Every WooCommerce email, New account (WordPress) and Password reset are ticked to begin with. New account — the copy sent to the shop and Everything else WordPress sends are off. The last one is usually a backup plugin's nightly report and a security plugin's alarm, not customer mail. Leave it off.
Check the table What happens to each email. Each row says Amino Engine or WordPress.
Press Save. The page says "Saved. Your shop's email now goes through Amino Engine."
If the switch will not stay on, a box says "You cannot switch this on yet" and gives the reason. The page then says your choice of emails was saved but the switch was left off.
#Send yourself a test
On the same page, Send yourself a test sends one message to your WordPress account's address, through the same route your shop's mail would use. Press Send the test. A test that arrives proves the connection. Your real mail still goes through WordPress until you save with the switch on.
The last few lists recent messages as your shop sends them.
You can also check in this app. Email & SMS → Tools → Receipts & codes has a card WordPress emails that says whether the plugin is routing your mail. Place a test order and look for it under Messages. It should carry the kind Receipt.
#What it does not change
- The wording. WooCommerce still writes the email. We carry it.
- Who it goes to. We do not add anyone to a list or ask for consent. This is receipt mail.
- Other plugins. Anything you did not tick goes out the way it always did.
#You will never lose a receipt
If we cannot be reached, the message is refused, or it is simply too big, the plugin hands that one message back to WordPress, and WordPress sends it the old way. A receipt is never held back and never dropped.
These always go out through WordPress, whatever you tick:
- anything with a file attached, such as an invoice PDF or a packing slip
- anything copied to a second address (Cc or Bcc), such as the warehouse
- anything sent to more than one person at once
- every message, if Amino Engine cannot be reached at that moment
The Sent from: line shows the address we use. A shop cannot type its own From address, because a shop that could would be a shop that could send as anybody. WooCommerce's own From setting is used only if that domain is verified with us.
#If it didn't work
- The switch will not turn on. Read the reason on the page. It is usually a missing connection or no verified sending domain.
- Order emails still seem to come from your host. Check the email type is ticked and the table says Amino Engine. If an SMTP plugin also claims your mail, two plugins are fighting and the first to load wins.
- Emails with an attachment still go the old way. That is expected. We cannot carry attachments yet.
- Nothing appears under Messages. Wait a few minutes, then reload. If the plugin page says the shop is not connected, reconnect it.
- Some went through us and some did not. That is the fallback doing its job.
