Create your account

You need an account before anything else. It takes a minute, and you land in a short setup wizard straight afterwards.

#Sign up

1. Go to app.aminoengine.com/signup?mode=new. The page is headed Email for brands nobody else will carry. and says Start sending in a few minutes. Seven days of everything, on us.

2. Choose one way in:

   • Press Continue with Google and pick your Google account. There is nothing else to fill in.
   • Or type your email address in the first box, choose a password in the second, and press Create my account.

3. If you use a password, it has to be at least 10 characters. The page tells you: At least 10 characters. Anything you like — a phrase is easier to remember than a puzzle.

By pressing Create my account you agree to the Terms of Service and the Privacy Policy. Both are linked under the button.

Some accounts also see a question, How did you hear about us?, with a list to pick from (Google search, a friend, a group chat, an AI assistant and so on). If you pick Other, a short box asks where. Pick one to carry on.

#If signup is closed

Sometimes we take new brands by invitation only. In that case the page says We are onboarding brands by invitation right now. Type your email in the box and press Keep me posted. We email you when a spot opens.

#Sign in later

1. Go to app.aminoengine.com/signup. The page says Welcome back.

2. Press Continue with Google, or type your email and password and press Sign in.

If you have switched on a second step for sign-in, the next page says Check your email. We send a six-digit code to your address. It expires in ten minutes. Type it in and press Sign in. If it has not arrived, press Send a new code. You can switch this on or off under Settings → General → Security; see "Your account, your password and sign-in security".

#Forgot your password

1. On the sign-in page, press Forgot your password?

2. Type your email address and press Email me a reset link.

3. Open the email and follow the link. It works once and expires in fifteen minutes.

For privacy the page says If we have an account for that address, a link to set a new password is on its way. It says this whether or not the address exists.

If you signed up with Google, you do not have a password until you add one. You can add one under Settings → General → Personal → Password, as a second way in.

#What happens next

After you sign up, you go to the setup wizard. Only the first screen is required. See "The setup wizard, step by step".

#If it didn't work

• The Google button is missing. Google sign-in is only shown when it is switched on. Use the email and password boxes.
• Create my account does nothing. The password is probably shorter than 10 characters. The page will say so.
• The reset email never arrived. Check your junk folder, and check you typed the address you signed up with. Then try again, or email support@aminoengine.com.
• The six-digit code expired. Press Send a new code, or press Start over to go back to the beginning.
