Connect an ad platform

Connecting is a one-time sign-in. After it, every ad account that login can reach is listed on Connections.

#Connect Meta

1. Open Advertising → Connections.

   On screenAdvertising › Connections

2. Next to Meta, press Connect. On a first visit this is the one main button on the page.

3. Facebook asks which business and ad accounts to share. Pick them and press Continue.

4. You come back to Connections. Meta now says Connected, with your Facebook login and a count of ad accounts under it. A green note says "Meta is connected" and links to the dashboard.

Only owners and admins can connect. If the Connect button is greyed out, ask one of them.

Right after you connect, the list can say "We are still reading your ad accounts. They appear here in a few minutes." That is normal. We read your accounts for the first time in the background, and the dashboard fills itself in as it goes.

#What you see on Connections

Each platform is one row. For a connected platform you see:

• The login you used and how many ad accounts it found.
• MCP server: the address you paste into your AI. See "Connect your AI to your ad accounts".
• Every ad account, with its 7-day spend, its status, and its slot control: In a slot, Use a slot or No slot free.

The first three ad accounts show, with a Show more control for the rest. Accounts in a slot are listed first.

#The other platforms

Meta is the platform that connects today. Other ad platforms are not open yet. When one opens, its row on Connections gets a Connect button. Press it, sign in on the platform, and you return to Connections.

#Reconnect

If your sign-in ran out, the platform shows Needs reconnecting and the line "Sign-in ran out". Press Reconnect and go through the sign-in again. While it is expired, we stop reading that platform. Nothing changes on your ads.

On the dashboard, an expired Meta connection says "Meta has expired the permission you gave us, so we have stopped reading. Nothing changed on your ads." with a Reconnect Meta link.

#Disconnect

Press Disconnect on the platform's row and confirm. The prompt says "Your ads keep running. We stop seeing them." Read the rest of it carefully too. Disconnecting Meta also disconnects any other platform connected on the same login, and the prompt lists which ones go with it.

#If it didn't work

• Facebook shows an error and you come back to Connections. The page shows Facebook's message at the top. Read it first; it usually says what to change, such as a missing permission.
• Meta says Connected but no ad accounts appear. Wait a few minutes. If the list stays empty, the login you used cannot reach any ad account. Sign in with a login that does.
• The Connect button does nothing on a test copy of the site. The page says "Connecting is switched off on this test site." Use the live site.
