Launch ads with your AI
What your AI can build on your ad accounts, why everything starts paused, and how to check it before anything spends.
Where it is in the app
Open Home, choose Advertising, then How to use.

- How to use
Once your AI is connected, you can ask it to build campaigns, ad sets and ads on your ad accounts in plain words. The AI does the typing. You review it in Meta's Ads Manager and switch on what you want.
#What has to be true first
- Your AI is connected. See "Connect your AI to your ad accounts".
- The ad account is In a slot. A launch to an account outside a slot is refused before anything is created.
- Changes to ad accounts are switched on for your brand. Until they are, your AI reads and nothing more. If a request is refused with "Changes to ad accounts are switched off on this test site", you are on a test copy of the site; use the live site.
#Everything starts paused
Whatever your AI creates, and whatever you create with Bulk upload, lands paused on Meta. Nothing spends until someone switches it on. This is not a setting you can forget to turn on. It is how every launch works.
Once changes are on, your AI does what you ask without a second check from us. Read what you type before you send it.
#What you can ask for
The Meta address carries 121 Meta tools, so you can ask for most things you would do in Ads Manager. Some examples:
- Read: accounts, campaigns, ad sets, ads, spend, results, previews, and Meta's review feedback on an ad.
- Build: campaigns, ad sets, ads and creatives, in bulk. Upload images and videos.
- Audiences: custom audiences, lookalikes, interest and location searches, and size estimates.
- Edit: budgets, names, status, and ad copy, one at a time or in bulk.
- Copy: duplicate a campaign, ad set or ad.
You do not need to know the tool names. Say what you want.
#A good first request
Ask your AI to list your ad accounts and say which ones it can see. If one is missing, check its slot on Connections.
Ask for one small thing, such as "Create one paused campaign on the Meta account called [name] with a daily budget of $20 and one ad set for US women 25-44."
Open Ads Manager and look at it. Check the page, the pixel, the link and the budget.
Switch it on yourself if it is right.
#Check before you switch on
- The link goes where you meant. If you use ad links from Links, the ad's destination should be your tracking link. See "Make an ad link".
- The Facebook page is the one you want the ad to post as.
- The budget is per day or lifetime, as you meant.
- The ad is not waiting on a card. An account with no valid card shows a payment problem on the dashboard. See "Read your ad account's status".
#When Meta turns an ad down
Ask your AI "Which ads were turned down, and why?" It can read Meta's own reason for each one. The same reasons show on each ad account's page under Ads Meta turned down. See "Rejected ads and alerts".
#If it didn't work
- The AI says it has no tool for that. Reconnect the connector in your AI app so it reloads the tool list.
- The AI says a write is not allowed. Changes are not switched on for your brand yet.
- It says the ad account is not available. The account is outside a slot. Fix that on Connections.
- It created something and you cannot see it. Look in Ads Manager, not on the dashboard. The dashboard shows what we last read; Sync now reads again.
