How Advertising works
What the Advertising workspace is, what each screen in it does, and the order to set things up in.

Advertising is a separate workspace inside Amino Engine. You connect your ad accounts once, then work on them from your own AI (Claude, ChatGPT or Cursor), and watch the numbers on one dashboard. You also get tracking links for your ads that keep bot clicks out of your numbers.
It reads your real ad accounts, not a copy of them.
#The four screens
Open Advertising in the main sidebar. Once something is connected, the Advertising sidebar shows four rows:

Until you connect an ad platform, you only see Connections. That is on purpose: there is nothing to put on a dashboard yet.
#The order to set things up
Turn on Advertising. Start the 7-day free trial from the Advertising page. See "What Advertising costs and the free trial".
Connect Meta. Press Connect next to Meta on Connections. See "Connect an ad platform".
Pick your ad accounts. Press Use a slot on each ad account you want us to work on. See "Choose which ad accounts use your slots".
Connect your AI. Copy the address on the MCP server line into Claude, ChatGPT or Cursor. See "Connect your AI to your ad accounts".
Make your ad links. Optional, but it is how you keep bot clicks out of your numbers. See "Make an ad link".
#What your AI can and cannot do
Your AI reaches your ad accounts through an address we give you. It can read campaigns, ad sets, ads, spend and results, and Meta's reasons when an ad is turned down.
- It only reaches ad accounts that are in a slot.
- Anything it creates starts paused. Nothing goes live until you switch it on.
- Changes to your ad accounts are only possible once they are switched on for your brand. Until then your AI reads and nothing more.

#Which ad platforms work
Meta (Facebook and Instagram) works today. Other ad platforms are not open yet. When one opens, it gets a Connect button on Connections and the steps are the same as for Meta.
#Who can do what
Owners and admins can change settings, connect platforms and use slots. Other team members can look. A button that is greyed out for you usually means your role cannot use it.
#If it didn't work
- You cannot see Advertising in the sidebar. It is not switched on for your brand yet. Ask the owner of the brand, or start the trial yourself if you are an owner or admin.
- You only see Connections. Nothing is connected yet. Connect Meta and the other rows appear.
